Welcome to the new Portal of Ministry of Health which is in the process of being revamped. The new portal will be self-serving single-contact source for all health services for the people of the United Arab Emirate. The fully functional portal will provide several services which will be available through highly secured login ID and password for different interest groups in health services.

By focusing on the establishment of an efficient Health Information System (HIS) the Ministry is planning to provide an unparallel control on the treatment of patients. The HIS will be integrated with the portal at a later stage which will provide an increased accessibility of information without geographical boundaries.

As we all are aware that any significant change requires a lot of time and effort and causes some inconvenience in the intervening period, we solicit your cooperation and understanding for a better future. We promise of a world class e-Health Service Portal very soon.

The Ministry of Health is committed to providing quality and easily accessible health and medical services to all in the United Arab Emirates. To achieve this objective the Ministry has launched an ambitious plan for the development of long term strategies and policies.

A network of health facilities has already been established in urban and rural areas. In addition to a competently functioning chain of health centres, many general hospitals and specialized centres have also been upgraded providing medical care services.

Moreover the Ministry has also focused on the prevention and control of the infectious diseases and already succeeded in eliminating diseases such as Malaria and Poliomyelitis which has been considered an important achievement and recognized by prominent international health institutions like World Health Organization. This success has encouraged the Ministry to combat chronic diseases which have emerged as the leading causes of mortality and constituted a significant health and economic burden.

In this regard special emphasis is being increasingly focused on health education and awareness directed to acquire healthy lifestyle towards achieving and sustaining the health and well being of the UAE community.

The Ministry of Health would not have been able to accomplish these successes had we not been for persuing the vision and wisdom of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan President of the United Arab Emirates and His Highness Sheikh Mohamad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE God Bless Them, and for their devotion to the health, welfare and prosperity of the people of the United Arab Emirates.
