External Relations and International Organizations

The Office of External Relations and international organizations to strengthen cooperation and coordination with international and regional organizations, governments and research centers and maintain the sustainability of these relationships, and exercise, in particular the following:

1. Carrying out all activities and communications Bwazzrap with international organizations and external actors.

2. Organize and facilitate the participation in scientific meetings, workshops, seminars and global conferences outside the country.

3. The organization of treatment of citizens outside the country.

4. The organization of medical experts to bring visitors.

5. Supervision of the State attached to health embassies abroad.

6. Any other functions assigned to it by the General Manager.

About Us

Founded this section through the Ministry of Health and the Government of the Union when it was founded in 1971 and the aim of this section is to establish relations of cooperation between the Ministry of Health and international and regional organizations, bilateral and multilateral development and maintenance of durability in order to provide direct benefit to support the development of health services in the state.

First letter: -

The Sector for External Relations and International Health to provide administrative services and high-quality coordinated health on a regular basis through the optimal use of resources and possibilities available through communication with health authorities from outside the country so as to meet the needs of the health sector and beneficiaries in the United Arab Emirates.

Second Vision: -

Achieve a better standard of services to all citizens and residents on the territory of the United Arab Emirates.

Third objective: -

Work to strengthen the activities and communications relating to cooperation between the Ministry of Health and Foreign Affairs in order to benefit from the resources derived from this cooperation for the development of health services in the country.

Department of External Relations and International Health

Regard to the External Relations Section Department of the Ministry relating to:

International Organizations

This section regulates the relations of the Ministry through:

-Coordination and exchange of experiences and information with the ministries of health in various countries around the world.

-cooperation with the Executive Office of the Council of Health Ministers of the GCC countries.

-Cooperation with the League of Arab States and its subsidiary institutions.

-Co-operation and exchange of information with the World Health Organization.

-Co-operation and exchange of information with the Alommm Nations Development Programme.

-Co-operation and exchange of information with the United Nations Children's Fund - UNICEF.

-Co-operation and exchange of information with Alramj funds and international and regional such as the United Nations Population Fund and the fight against tuberculosis, AIDS and malaria programs and the Arabian Gulf in support of United Nations development organizations and others.

Relations have grown the ministry of these organizations is to reach an annual programming budget aims to consolidate and develop the functions of the ministry, medical and technical, human, and the annual budget is the code between the Ministry of Health and the World Organization Alsjp a model for cooperation and coordination between the Ministry and international organizations.

Joint committees and international cooperation

Consequent membership of the ministry in all the committees of joint cooperation between the State and other countries many tasks including the preparation of the work of the committees and dissemination of its decisions and recommendations to the competent authority in the ministry and follow up the implementation of those resolutions and recommendations in line with the needs of the ministry.

In addition to the management and conduct of the affairs of the ministry's relations with all government agencies and authorities and non-governmental organizations outside the state and outside the scope of United Nations organizations and the GCC.

Section treatment abroad

Section is concerned with treatment abroad in:

• send patients abroad for treatment.

• provision of medicines within the state of others present.

• storage of information for patients on the computer.

Program of visiting doctors

Visiting Doctors Program was established under resolution No. (26) for the year 1992 and the program host the doctors, consultants and specialists with rare expertise who have known in various medical fields, especially in minimally invasive surgery that are difficult to be held in the state and requires to take place abroad.

Respect to the process of visiting doctors program bring in doctors and hosting international consultants to visit the State hospitals and the treatment of difficult cases.
