Ministry of Health Discusses Cooperation with Mayo Clinic

The Ministry of Health discussed with a delegation from Mayo Clinic chaired by Dr. Abdulla Razzouq, Pediatric Surgeon, the cooperation between two parties in the field of continuous medical education and exchanging experts and consultants to provide checkup and treatment for critical cases in the ministry’s facilities. The delegation included staff from the health relations department in Mayo Clinic Group.

Dr. Mostafa Al Hashemi, Director of Overseas Consultants Program and Acting Director of Dubai Medical District at the Ministry of Health, stated that the two parties discussed research cooperation in the field of specialized healthcare, overseas consultants program and the training of doctors and technicians in the healthcare centers of mayo clinic group.

It is noted that Mayo Clinic Group is one of the specialized organizations in health and medical sciences and located in Rochester City, Minnesota State-USA. The group includes Mayo Clinic Medical School, Senior Mayo Clinic College and a number of medical sciences schools in addition to research sections, hospitals, specialized and public clinics. The group includes four thousand doctors and fifty thousand scientists as well as assistant medical supporting staff.
