The preventive medicine center provided its services for 48 thousand visitors since last April. The services include preventive medicine, labor checkups, school health services, motherhood and childhood and health cards.
Mohammed Al Muhallabi, Director of the center, emphasized that the preventive medicine center received 12,300 thousand visitors so far seeking for age issuance and death certificates, local and expat pre marriage tests and medical checkups for students entering UAE universities.
The school health department also provides services for 20 schools with an average of 6070 students. The services include vaccinations, supervision of school environment, reporting and controlling infectious diseases, required treatment for students and awareness lectures presented by specialized doctors.
